IMPORTANT REVISION – MARK YOUR CALENDARS

To accommodate end-of-the-year events at Inman Feeder Elementary Schools, Inman has rescheduled its last Transition In Event, “A Comprehensive Overview of Inman & Its Curriculum,“ from May 15th (Tuesday) to May 14th (Monday).  Please arrive by 6:30 pm because the program will start on time.  (An updated flyer has been included.)

WATCH FOR INMAN’S SPRING MAILING – REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS INCLUDED

Parents/guardians of an APS 5^th grade student currently enrolled in one of Inman's Feeder Elementary Schools should watch for Inman Middle School’s Spring Mailing.  The mailing contains all documents needed to register your rising 6^th grader at Inman.  If you do not receive your mailing by May 5th OR if you are zoned to attend Inman for 6^th grade but your child is currently attending a private or out-of-zone elementary school, then please contact the 6^th Grade Counselor, Ms. Tina Blevins, tblevins2@atlanta.ga.us or 404.802.3215, for further instructions.

REGISTER EARLY TO HELP STAFFING & SCHEDULING

Inman’s In-Zone Rising 6th Grade registration dates and times are:  May 8, 2012 (7:30 am - 10:30 am); May 10, 2012 (2:30 pm - 6:30 pm); May 31, 2012 (10:30 am - 2:30 pm); OR June 1, 2012 (8:30 am - 10:30 am).   Please register your incoming 6th grader by June 1 (rather than waiting until August), so Ms. Herrema will be able to hire new teachers in May or June (before some of the best available teachers are hired by other schools).  Also, some classes fill up quickly, so the earlier you register, the better for your child’s schedule.
