NO LEFT TURNS INTO ML TURN-AROUND ALLOWED!
DROP-OFF
Heading North, we have a Drop-Off lane
on Candler Park Drive across from the school - in front of the Candler
Park Golf Course. Volunteer Crossing Guards are always posted to help
children cross the street.
Heading South, parents may drop off
students in the turn-around in front of the school. This can be
time-consuming for parents as buses are also dropping off students in
this single lane.
PICK-UP
2:30 - Bus riders (dismissed to the front sidewalk area)
2:33 - Van riders (dismissed to the auditorium)
2:35 - YWCA after care (dismissed to the cafeteria)
2:38 2nd and 3rd Grade car riders and walkers
2:40 4th and 5th Grade car riders and walkers
Heading North, parents must park and walk to the school to get their children.
Heading South, parents must wait until all buses and after-care programs have loaded their students before moving slowly through the turn-around.
- If you are picking up a student who walks home, please help us by standing on the traffic circle pavement until the students are safely on the sidewalk in front of the school.
- The carpool lane will proceed forward around 2:40. Please wait for an adult to signal the start of the carpool line.
- Fortunately, many Mary Lin students can walk or bike to school. We encourage everyone to walk/bike to school on Fridays to ease traffic congestion.
