Mary Lin History

Miss Mary Lin was a Teacher for 8 years in the Atlanta Public School System and a Principal for 27 years. She was an active member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Candler Park for 60 years.
In 1929, Atlanta Public Schools opened a new elementary school in the Candler Park neighborhood. Miss Lin was installed as the principal of the new school, and the school was named in her honor.
