· Tissue boxes – to make guitars
· Paper towel rolls – to make Kazoos
· Empty plastic bottles – to make percussion instruments
·
Georgia State Bio Bus will be parked out front in the drop off circle.
Silly Putty Construction will occur in the art room. We are trying to control the chaos a little more this year so each child will only be able to make silly putty once.

Operation Care Basket is underway. We have begun collecting non-perishable Thanksgiving food items to share with deserving families in our community. You may have seen the lovely basket beneath the bulletin board in the school's main entrance. Please put your contributions in the basket. All contributions are welcome, but to minimize duplications, we are outlining suggested items by grade level.
Pre-K through 2nd grade:
Canned goods and glass jar items (e.g., cranberry sauce, canned vegetables, olives, apple juice, etc.);
3rd through 5th grade:
Dry goods (potato and stuffing mixes, crackers, coffee/tea, holiday napkins, etc.).
Food will be distributed on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Please email pr@marylinelementary.com with any questions. Many thanks to all!
