Teacher Appreciation week will be held the following dates May 3-7. There are opportunities each day for you and your child to recognize all the time and effort their teacher has given this year.

• Monday -  May 3: Bring in a flower for your teacher (when each child brings in one flower the teacher ends up with a lovely bouquet that represents the diversity of her/his class) 
• Tuesday - May 4: Teacher Appreciation Luncheon for all teachers and staff and highlighting Mary Lin Teacher of The Year Patricia Derrico (Please contact Gillian Landgraff 404.293.1439 or flan717@bellsouth.net if you would like to donate a dish or help with set up or clean up.)
• Wednesday - May 5: "Smart Start" - Bring in coffee, tea, juice or a healthy breakfast food your teacher likes (Suggestions: Ground coffee, tea bags, juice, granola bars, banana, bagels, etc.)
• Thursday - May 6: An Apple for the Teacher Day : bring in a piece of fruit for your teacher
• Friday -May 7: Nice Note Day: Have your child write a nice note to their teacher and bring it in.
