WHAT DOES YOUR PTA DO?
Volunteers, teachers and staff work together to provide the following programs and activities not covered by the school budget. We receive financial support from our School Partners, the community and our families. Parent involvement and support is a critical factor in our students' success.

Teacher Allotments
($150-250 per teacher)
Visiting Artists & In-School Field Trips
Science Night (hands-on learning by experts)
Math Superstars (club for future mathletes)
Chess Club (free club teaching lifetime fun & strategy)
Career Day (inspiration and then some!)
Olympic Day (field day fun)
Kindergarten Tours/Roundup
Principal Coffees (monthly Q&A with Dr. Mitchell)
Directory (family listings & business ads)
Teacher & Staff Appreciation
Grounds & Playground Workdays
Community Garden
Family Events (Sweetheart Dance, Mother/Son Event)
Yearbook
Cook Book
Fundraising Events & Dine-outs

PTA GUIDELINES:

PTA is nonpartisan and a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Our goal is not to fundraise but to support Mary Lin by providing our teachers and students with best learning environment possible. Funds are raised for the approved budget only. How we spend our money is determined by the Georgia PTA. Visit Georgia PTA for more information.
